KITESURF

Discover and Learn

From 10 years old, courses for all levels, from beginner to advanced, tailored to each person. We take a maximum of 2 to 3 people per session and per instructor. State-certified instructors will share their passion with a local touch in a friendly atmosphere.

Initiation :

Learn about the equipment and safety.
Positioning in relation to the wind.
Handle the wing safely.

Towed swimming :

Once you’ve mastered kite control and safety instructions, it’s time for some towed swimming.

Water start :

You’re comfortable with the kite and your body. Now, let’s get on the board and start the water start – it’s time to ride on both sides!

WING FOIL

A “Wing” is a wing that you hold using a wishbone or handles while standing on a foil board. Secured by a leash, this new activity allows riders to experience new sensations with an unprecedented freedom of movement.

Inititation Wing :

Start with foil towing using our simulator – work on your balance and stance more quickly. After 15 minutes, you’ll start feeling the first gliding sensations.

Tips for upwind riding, mastering tacks, jibes, and pumping.

TOWED FOIL

Foil Introduction :

When the foil gains speed, its wing creates lift that raises the board above the water. This system minimizes friction, allowing for smooth and fast gliding. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to ride with very little wind, whether in wing foil, kitesurfing, or being towed by a boat.

Wave reading, pumping, lots of tips to help you progress and reach your goals.

Open only on windy days and by appointment.

For What :

From 8 years old for towed foil and 10 years old for kitesurfing.

FFVL License

Being insured for Civil Liability (RC) for kitesurfing is mandatory. TAHITI KITESURF CENTER is a school affiliated with the FFVL (French Federation of Free Flight) and certified EFK and Kite eau No. 19 909. We recommend opting for an IA (individual accident) insurance to cover personal injuries. This subscription will be valid until December of the current year.
